Towns had to freeze firefighter hirings, despite rapid population growth.

Funding for the Colorado Dept. of Agriculture was cut by nearly 50%.

Senior citizens' home health care, public schools and higher education all saw drastic cuts.

Fees such as fishing and hunting license, car registration and water user fees rose drastically.
